To celebrate the release of the Shazam! movie with Zachary Levi we’re taking on the weird 1974 TV show, with Nate Fahnestock from Kvlt of Personality!

In 1974, CBS and Filmation created a live action show based on DC Comics’ Captain Marvel, called Shazam. Featuring terrible special effects and script, Shazam surprisingly ran for 3 seasons, including a spin off called the Legend of Isis.

About Justice League (1997)

In 1997, CBS tried to capitalize on the latest wave of super hero success by commissioning a Justice League live action TV series based on the more humorous Justice League International comics by Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis. And they basically turned into a Friends rip-off.
