38 – Swamp Thing (1990) – “The Emerald Heart” w/ Stefan Halley

Before DC Universe launches their new Swamp Thing, we’re taking a look at the first episode of the 1990 live action series that aired on USA! This episode features one of the best scenes in TV history.

In 1990, after the success of the two Swamp Thing movies, actor and stuntman Dick Durock took up the mantle again for three seasons on USA. Mark Lindsay Chapman took over the role of Dr. Anton Arcane and the two battled each other in the swamp along with a spare kid Jim and a bunch of mutants in nonsensical plots.

After the sun goes down, things really heat up when we take on 1995’s Baywatch Nights with Zedrick Bordelon!

In 1995, David Hasselhoff decided just one Baywatch show wasn’t enough: we needed two! So he created Baywatch Nighs, a show about Hasselhoff as a private detective with Gregalan Williams and Angie Harmon where they take on the sexiest cases…and later aliens…and time travel.

31 – Heat Vision and Jack (1999) (w/ Patrick Woodall)

It starred Jack Black, Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller and it never aired: we’re talking about 1999’s Heat Vision and Jack! Guest starring Patrick Woodall (@endlesspat) from Adam Ruins Everything!

In 1999, Fox ordered a pilot from Rob Schrab and Dan Harmon, starring Jack Black and Owen Wilson. The show was a parody of 1970’s action shows like Six Million Dollar Man, where Jack Black played Jack Austin, a NASA astronaut who was exposed to solar radiation and became a genius, while his best friend Doug (Owen Wilson) was merged with his motorcycle. The two traveled America solving paranormal crimes.

We’re diving back into the sitcom Reich by looking back at Heil Honey, I’m Home and talking about our Christmas special: the Lifetime movie 12 Men of Christmas.

12 Men of Christmas is a 2009 Lifetime Christmas movie starring Kristen Chenoweth and Anna Chlumsky. There’s not much to say about its history other than that it takes place in the real Montana town of Kalispell and it’s based on a book called Dating Mr. December.

21 – Heil Honey, I’m Home (1990)

Get your laugh tracks ready, as we’re taking on our first sitcom with the the 1990 Hitler sitcom Heil Honey, I’m Home!

In 1990, the British network Galaxy (later part of BSkyB) produced a sitcom from Geoff Atkinson called Heil Honey I’m Home! that centered on Nazi dictator Adolph Hitler, his wife Eva Braun, and their wacky Jewish neighbors; confusingly they all have New York accents. Eight episodes were produced, but only one aired.
